Hi,
Hope you all had a great weekend. As a child i always loved Disney characters and still do. Since the time i started nail stamping, it was my heartiest wish if i can get great stamps of Disney's animated characters and when Meann of MyOnline Shop launched new MJ Plates 9-20 alongwith this Special Edition Disney and Hello Kitty plate, I knew i have to get Special Edition plate any how. So, i finally got it on last Friday. Here's what all i got from there.
MJ XV, XVIII, Special Edition Plate from My Online Shop |
Can you see the awesomeness of Special Edition plate.. all those lovely cartoon characters, so detailed designs and above all they stamps so so well. I decided to do Disney Princess Manicure first. All the images for this manicure is at top row on the image plate.
I decided to use stamper decals to see more colors in the manicure. For those who doesn't know about stamper decals yet, it is a technique where we stamp the image over dried clear polish base(dried on a sandwich bag or clean plastic), fill desired colors(either using acrylic or nail polish) in the images and when it get dries we peel the whole base from plastic bag cut it fit our nail and apply using a top coat. Does it sound complicated ?? I will try to do a tutorial for this.
so, here is my manicure :

I used Picture Polish Focus(swatched here) base and sponged A-England's Excalibur over it and then stick colored stamper decals on it. Finished with a thick layer of Seche Vite.

Although, i think the coloring should be more accurate but i for the first timer its not bad. I have few more manicures lined up with this plate.
You can check MyOnline Shop's FacebookPage for more details or you can directly order HERE or can check on her Etsy Store.
So, what you think about this manicure. Please do share your thoughts in comments, I will be looking forward for them :)
